My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Fairmont twice in the later part of April. The location is right on the Nile, it is a beautiful interior with a variety of restaurants and we found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. Security at the street level was different than what we are accustomed to but customary to other fine hotels in Cairo. Eager staff awaits upon arrival, easy check-in, very nice rooms with larger than normal bathrooms/shower and tubs. Complimentary snacks and water in the room was nice, rooms are quiet, beds are comfy. Special mention and thanks to the Manager of the Onyx Lounge, first floor. He was extraordinarily nice to my wife, and a very helpful and pleasant person to talk with. If we return to Cairo this is where we will be staying.

I have my cocktail at the lounge the service is so professional and organised the bartender Mahmoud show good beverage experience to exceed my expectations and he feel me like the second home I will come back again for the nice place at cairo

Prompt and friendly service from Ramy. There when needed but not too much. Food was great. Pizza was definitely sharing size. The restaurant was not too busy - only about half full. We got in without a reservation and were sat beside the window with a view of the Nile.
